Veldhoven Connects Event Edition 4
On Thursday, September 14, 2023 we organized for the fourth time the Veldhoven Connects Business Event at Theater De Schalm.
Attendees enjoyed a varied program in the style of College Tour featuring as guests Janus van Kasteren. The evening was presented by the Veldhoven presenter Meike de Jong. During the event, the entrepreneurial awards were presented.
The price for Promising Entrepreneur of 2023 went to the entrepreneurial duo Laura van der Velden and Chiel Sap from Restaurant Le Sable. The couple recently received a mention in the 2024 Michelin Guide. The professional jury and voters were unanimous in electing them Promising Entrepreneur of 2023. Chiel received the trophy and voucher from Mayor Marcel Delhez while Laura took care of business at the restaurant. The other candidates were Esmee and Rick van Loon from Kivo Pet Food and Luc Kerremans and Marijn van der Heijden from HypedPair.
Veldhoven Entrepreneur of 2023 became Eefje Maessen from Who Fashion. With her enthusiasm and commitment, Eefje is a wonderful example of a connecting entrepreneur. Her most famous quote is "enthousiasmekanjeredden.nl".
At the beginning of the evening, the very first Golden Ticket awarded to start-up entrepreneur Joshua Ritmeijer from Photo Veldhoven. He received the prize after a draw by notary public Jacqueline Erdkamp.
