Veldhoven Connects Edition 5
On Thursday, September 12, 2024 we organized for the fifth time the Veldhoven Connects Business Event at Theater De Schalm.
Attendees enjoyed a varied program in the style of College Tour featuring as guests Peter Wennink. Veldhoven presenter Meike de Jong asked him varied questions about work and private life, and so the guests got an interesting and engaging insight into Peter's life. As some of the guests told us, "we were so fascinated, the interview could have gone on even longer".
During the event, the entrepreneurial awards were presented. The price for Promising Entrepreneur of 2024 went to Ilse van Drongelen from The Beer Girl. There were even more votes cast this year than in previous years. The professional jury and the voters were unanimous about the election as Promising Entrepreneur of 2024. Ilse was presented with the trophy and the voucher by mayor Marcel Delhez. The other candidates for this year's Promising Entrepreneur award were David Evers from David's Tree Care and Consulting and Melissa Bos from LIS. Foods & Goods.
Veldhoven Entrepreneur of 2024 became no less than 6 entrepreneurs this year. As partners, together they form the face of TRC Lawyers, which thus immediately became the very first company of the year. Geert Bosman, Jeroen Hellendoorn, Tom Jeltema, Ghislaine van Kooten, Corné Uitdehaag and Erik Vannisselroy received the award from the hands of jury president and mayor Marcel Delhez and expressed their thanks to the entire team at TRC Lawyers. The judges' report revealed how TRC Lawyers in addition to entrepreneurship, is actively involved in the various networking and business associations in Veldhoven.
At the beginning of the evening, the Golden Ticket awarded to start-up entrepreneur Laurens Kubinek from Telecombination Kubico. He received the prize after a draw by notary public Jacqueline Erdkamp.
After the official part there was plenty of time to catch up with each other over drinks and pleasant music. We look back on a successful anniversary edition of Veldhoven Verbindt.
